ROOTS Cultural Festival - Delray Beach, FL

In 1978, members  of the Jefferson Manor Homes Association in Delray Beach, Florida were making plans to celebrate their first anniversary. As they talked about making it a special occassion, Roots Cultural Festival was born.

What Does Roots Do Today? Roots has grown into much more than an "festival." Today, Roots is involved in supporting local businesses. Providing opportunities for artists and performers, recognizing and encouraging educational development for students, offering sports & recreational activities, introducing communities to the ethnic diversity that, South Florida has to offer, and the Nationally recognized "Roots Festival on the Square."
