ROOTS Cultural Festival - Delray Beach, FL

The Roots Cultural Festival is again sponsoring the Academic Olympics. On July 12, 2008, the Academic Olympics competition will be a one day event that will provide fun and enjoyment, as well as it will mentally challenge our children to be the brightest and best academically.

The Academic Olympics is appealing to religious institutions, summer camps, and schools to help collaborate effort to improve our children’s academic skills. We are asking you to help by becoming a Study Support Site for students with selected subjects.

It has been well documented that created a positive learning environment and support from the family enables students to be more successful in school. The African proverb, “It takes the whole village to raise a child.” The Roots Academic Olympics is an attempt to get the “village” involved in the educational process.
